"I started collecting in 1996, and I still have many of those original cards today — not only because they're valuable, but also because each one reminds me of a moment. My mom driving my brothers and I to the card shop, standing in front of the display choosing which pack felt lucky, and the drive home wondering if this was finally the one.
The cards were always exciting, but they were only part of the story. The places you went, the people you met, and the anticipation before the first card was revealed are what make collecting memorable.
That's why I built Vantablack Collective — because one day you might not have that card anymore or you might forget where you stored the card…
